GOAL HORN SYSTEM
Quiet, Yet Authentic Goal Horn
The Heritage Center presented an unusual challenge for a goal horn installation. The rink is highly reflective acoustically, and a conventional full-volume horn was considered impractical for the space.
ArenaFX selected and configured a horn and air-delivery system that could be tuned to a lower output while preserving the character of a real goal horn. The result provides an authentic horn sound at a level suited to the rink’s size and acoustics.
LED GOAL LIGHTS
Daktronics Integrated LED Goal Lights
ArenaFX also designed and installed custom LED goal-light bars around the existing goal-light system.
The objective was to add the LED effect without rewiring the venue’s Daktronics controls or introducing additional operator controls. A custom interface circuit detects activation of the existing goal light and triggers the LED bars automatically. From the operator’s perspective, the added lighting functions as part of the original system with no additional control steps.
